American Powertrain and Brooks Specialty Products have teamed up to offer a comprehensive line of 1000 HP-tested X-Factor aluminum transmission supports.
X-Factor cross members are incredibly light and exceedingly strong, with unmatched clearance for oversized exhaust systems. Made from high-grade MIG and TIG welded aluminum alloy, X-Force cross members are manufactured in the USDA and are about half the weight of a stock steel cross member. All cross members are powdercoated in metallic aluminum and include grade 8 hardware and unique steel fastener plates that eliminate blind bolting. A polished finish is also available on a custom order basis.
Applications include classic 4-speeds, TKO 5-speeds, magnum and T56 6-speed manual gearboxes and Turbo 350 and 400, 700R4, 4L60E, 4L65 and 4L80E automatics will be available for GM A, F and X-body, along with Tri-5. Gen 1 and Gen 2 F-body applications are now in stock.
